What's Happening
The Christmas music is filling the air-ways. Let’s be sure to let the message fill our hearts. For indeed, the Savior has come.
Let me encourage you to not pass-up the Salvation Army’s kettles. They do a great work, and they do it in Jesus’ name. There are many other charities, some that may be worthy of our attention. My advise is to do your charitable giving to organizations that honor His name in their work.
Another year will soon be past. Another Share-a-thon is fast approaching. Probably more than ever, we need your help. We have found it necessary to cut back in several areas, but we are still falling short. We do thank all who have faithfully given to support this ministry, and hope for your continued support.
We have received a little over $2000 towards the purchase of a generator, to be used during power failures. We will probably need about $7000 for the purchase. We saw the need for a generator in the aftermath of hurricane Ike. Several times a year we experience power outages and would be so blessed to have a generator.
Do continue to include KJIC in your prayers.

KJIC Give Away |

We are giving away several copies of the book The Shepherds' Prayer. This give away will go from 11/25/08 through 12/22/08.
The Shepherds' Prayer is written by Author Richard M. Barry and is a Christmas Novel.
A young man orphaned as a baby sets off to discover the truth about the circumstances of his birth, the fate of his parents, and his heritage. Having been raised in a culture where bloodlines mean everything, he seems forever condemned to live as an outsider on the fringes of society until he discovers his true heritage.
His only clue is a cryptic message on a lambskin blanket about a child born in a stable in Bethlehem. Who is this mysterious child? And what could such a child have to do with his own birth and destiny? The answers will change his life forever...and maybe yours.

WHO WE ARE
Community Radio, Inc is a non-profit corporation in the state of Texas since 1978. Board members are all zealous for the Lord Jesus and for this ministry. We are also recognized by the IRS as a 501 c 3 charitable organization. This makes all gifts to the ministry tax deductible.
We are licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to operate KJIC as a non-commercial FM station.
We are Christians in our religious persuasion, not separated by denominational barriers. We believe in the one God of the Holy Bible, manifest as the heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in salvation from the guilt and power of sin by God's favor, through our faith, to enable us to do good works. We believe King Jesus will return to bless the saints and judge the world.
OUR PURPOSE
It's our desire to be used by God in ministry to others. We hope to bring comfort, encouragement, and spiritual strength to the church, and "light" to those in darkness. We hope to be used by Him.
We broadcast His Word by radio, print, the internet, conversation, or any other means available to us. We do this with expectation.
OUR FORMAT
We are traditional gospel music radio. Most hours we do play two programs 1 to 5 minutes in length, but you are never far from music. Our music points to Jesus and all that He has provided, and to our celebration of life in Him.
Christian Internet Code of Ethics

- I guard my online relationships
- I am careful to visit websites that do not compromise my life in Christ
- I take care that my written communications reflect Christ in my life
- I guard my time to assure that my time online is kept in proper balance with the rest of my life
